Farm Out Airport Meet-and-Greet Pickups With Confidence
How to farm out airport meet-and-greet pickups: prepaid jobs, flight number and name sign on the job, verified chauffeurs and a client who stays yours.

Your client books a car for a landing in a city where you have no vehicle. Or they land at your home airport on a night when every car you own is already out. Either way, you have a choice: say no, or hand the pickup to someone you trust.
Airport meet-and-greet is the work clients remember most. A tired traveller walks into the arrivals hall, sees their name on a sign and is in a clean car a few minutes later. If that moment goes wrong, they remember it for a long time. So when you farm out airport meet-and-greet pickups, you need the details to travel with the job, the money to be settled before the trip, and your client to stay yours afterwards.
This guide covers how to do that on LimoFarmOut, from posting the job to paying the chauffeur.
Why airport pickups are the first jobs operators farm out
Airport work is steady, but it bunches up. Morning arrivals from overnight flights, evening rushes from business routes and the last flights of the night all land at once. A small fleet can cover a busy Tuesday and still come up two cars short on a Thursday.
Then there are trips outside your area. A corporate client who uses you at home will often ask you to "sort the car" when they fly somewhere else. Saying "I don't work there" sends them looking for another company, and that company may keep them.
Farming the trip out lets you say yes to both. You keep the booking, the relationship and your margin, and a verified chauffeur in the right place runs the pickup.
What a meet-and-greet job needs to say
A meet-and-greet pickup fails on small details: the wrong terminal, the wrong name on the sign, a driver waiting at the kerb while the passenger waits inside. Put everything on the job so nothing depends on a phone call.
When you farm out a job, include:
- Pickup airport and terminal, plus the drop-off address.
- Flight number. Airport pickups on LimoFarmOut have flight tracking, and the flight number shows on the driver's trip screen.
- Pickup time as the passenger sees it on the ground. Times are set in the pickup city's time zone, so nobody arrives an hour early or late.
- Vehicle type and passenger and bag count.
- Conditions. Name sign, water, suit and tie, Wi-Fi: list them as conditions. The driver confirms they meet every condition before accepting.
Chauffeurs see the flight number, terminal and meet-and-greet details on the job before they accept, so the driver who takes it knows exactly what they signed up for.
Every airport has its own rules for commercial pickups: where cars can wait, where meet-and-greet drivers stand and which areas are for which type of vehicle. Large airports publish them, for example the ground transportation pages for JFK, Toronto Pearson and Heathrow. A local chauffeur already knows these rules, which is one more reason to use one instead of sending your own car a long way.

Pay once, before anyone sees the job
On LimoFarmOut, you pay for the job by card when you post it. The money is held until the trip is done. Only funded work appears on the job board.
That matters for airport work in two ways. First, good chauffeurs prefer prepaid jobs, so your pickup gets taken faster. Second, you never send a driver an invoice reminder or get a "when do I get paid?" message the next morning.
You can also set an automatic raise if nobody takes the job at your first price. Drivers never see your maximum, and anything you set aside but did not need comes back to you. Pickups that are ASAP or within the next 2 hours go to every driver in that city at once.
The fee is simple: joining is free and there is no monthly fee. You pay a platform fee per job: 10% during the launch offer on every job posted until 31 December 2027, and 20% standard. The driver pays nothing and keeps the full payout.
Your client stays your client
The fear with any farm-out is that the chauffeur hands your passenger a business card. LimoFarmOut is built to stop that:
- The passenger and driver call and text through a private trip number. Neither sees the other's real number.
- Contact details typed in the chat are removed.
- On every job, the driver promises not to contact your client or passenger directly. Breaking that promise can close their account.
The passenger also gets texts in your company's name with the chauffeur, vehicle and a live tracking link. To them, it is your service, because it is. For a fuller look at protecting the relationship, read how to hand off a limo job safely when you are busy.
Who takes your pickup
Every chauffeur on the network uploads their licence, any chauffeur or livery licence the city requires, commercial insurance and vehicle registration, and a person checks each one. LimoFarmOut checks that drivers hold valid commercial insurance; it does not provide it. When a required document expires, that driver cannot take jobs until it is renewed.
When someone accepts your job, you see their name, car and plate. After the trip, you rate them, and that rating stays on their record for the next operator. You can read more in Verified Chauffeurs: Licences, Insurance and Photos Build Trust.
When the flight is late, or the plan changes
Flights land early and late. Flight tracking on airport pickups means the chauffeur can follow the arrival rather than guess. Waiting time, parking and extra stops are added at the end and paid through the platform, so the driver is not out of pocket for a long wait in the short-stay car park. We cover this in detail in delayed flights and farm-out jobs.
If your client's plans change, you can move the pickup time, ask for a replacement driver or cancel with the refund shown before you confirm. Cancelling 24 hours or more before pickup is refunded in full. A late cancellation pays the driver part of the payout for holding the time. If the passenger does not show and the driver is on location, the driver is paid in full.
For private aviation arrivals, which work a little differently, see FBO and private jet transfers.
Book the rest of the trip
Airport pickups rarely stand alone. Your client also needs a flight, a hotel, maybe a car on the return leg. Our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net covers flights, hotels, resorts and activities:

Frequently asked questions
Can the chauffeur see the flight number before accepting?
Yes. The flight number, terminal and meet-and-greet details are on the job before a driver accepts, and airport pickups have flight tracking.
How do I make sure the driver brings a name sign?
Add the name sign as a condition when you post the job. The driver confirms they meet every condition before they can accept.
Will the passenger see the chauffeur's personal phone number?
No. Calls and texts go through a private trip number, so neither the passenger nor the driver sees the other's real number.
What does it cost to farm out an airport pickup?
Joining is free. You pay a platform fee per job: 10% on jobs posted until 31 December 2027, then 20% standard. Drivers pay no fee.
Can I farm out pickups at airports in other countries?
Yes. Jobs can be posted in any city worldwide, and the pickup time is set in that city's local time.
