Post a Limo Job by Pasting Your WhatsApp Message
Dispatchers can post a limo farm-out job by pasting the message they'd send a WhatsApp group. The form fills itself in; you check it, pay and publish.

Every dispatcher has a shorthand. "PU JFK T4 7:15pm, DO Midtown, SUV, 3 pax 4 bags, $130 all in." You can type it with one thumb while holding the office line with the other. It is fast, everyone in the trade can read it, and for years it was the way overflow work moved.
The problem was never the message. It was everything that came after it: who replied first, whether the price would be argued later, whether the driver was insured, and who would chase whom for the money.
LimoFarmOut keeps the shorthand and fixes what follows. With Paste from WhatsApp, you paste the exact message you would have sent to a group, and the job form fills itself in. This guide shows how it works from a dispatcher's chair, and what to check before you post.
Where Paste from WhatsApp lives
Open farm out a job. At the top of the form you'll see two choices: paste from WhatsApp, or fill the form. Choose paste, drop in your message, and the page reads it and fills in the fields it understands.
It is built for the way jobs are really written in limo groups. It reads common layouts such as "PU:" and "DO:" lines, airport codes like JFK or YYZ, prices written as "$130 all in", times such as "Today 03:30 PM", and passenger counts in the short forms people actually use. Nothing is guessed silently: the page tells you what it filled in and what is still missing, so you know exactly where to look.
What to check after you paste
Pasting does most of the typing. Your job is the quick review that makes the post complete. Work through it top to bottom:
- Pickup date and time. Confirm the date, and check that the time is local to the pickup city. There is a pickup time zone field if the trip is somewhere other than your own city.
- Addresses. Make sure pickup and drop-off are full addresses or the correct terminal. Add a stop or tick round trip if the same driver brings the passenger back.
- Vehicle, passengers and bags. A job is shown only to drivers who supply that vehicle type, so pick the right one.
- Flight number. For airport pickups, add it so the driver can follow the flight.
- Waiting and hourly terms. Set the free waiting included and the rate for each extra hour. Drivers see both before they accept.
- Requirements. Name sign, water, suit and tie: each one is listed and the driver must confirm every one.
- Driver payout. Check the number the paste picked up, and compare it with what similar trips in that city paid.
If anything is missing, the page names it, so you never publish half a job.

What not to put in the notes
Group messages often carry the passenger's name and number in the same line as the route. On LimoFarmOut, those belong in their own fields, not in the notes.
- Notes drivers see before accepting should describe the trip, never the person. No names or phone numbers.
- Passenger name goes in the passenger section. It is shared only with the driver who accepts.
- Passenger phone is never shown to the driver. The passenger is texted a private number to reach their chauffeur, in your company's name.
If you paste a message that includes a phone number, move it into the passenger field before you publish. That way the number is used for the private line and never ends up on the board.
Then pay, publish and share
Once the form is right, continue to secure payment. You pay the driver payout plus the platform fee by card: 10% on jobs posted until 31 December 2027, then the standard 20%. The money is held until the trip is done.
The job goes live straight away and reaches drivers in that city. If you still want your groups to see it, share it to WhatsApp in one tap. The message your colleagues receive now points to a funded job with a verified-driver rule, not to "call me if you can do it".
Chauffeurs have good reasons to prefer it that way, as our post on why chauffeurs stop taking jobs by text and WhatsApp explains. Group admins who want to move a whole group's overflow work can follow this guide for WhatsApp limo groups.
Why the paste habit matters on a busy shift
A paste-first workflow is not about saving thirty seconds. It is about keeping one version of the job.
When you retype a trip from a message into a booking form, two things drift apart: what you told the client and what the driver sees. Pasting the same text you were about to send means the source is the same, and the review step catches what the shorthand left out. On a night with fifteen trips, that consistency prevents the wrong terminal and the missing name sign.
It also fits the way you already work. If a client sends you a booking in a chat, you can copy their message, paste it into the form, check it and post. You never have to rebuild the trip from memory.
Faster still: get the job filled
Pasting makes posting quick. A few settings make the fill quick too:
- Use a rising price with a maximum if you're unsure of the rate. It climbs only if it has to, drivers never see the ceiling, and anything unused is refunded.
- Tick ASAP if the passenger is ready now. ASAP jobs and pickups within 2 hours go to every qualified driver at once. See covering a last-minute trip in minutes.
- Be generous with detail. Bags, terminal and waiting terms help a driver say yes without asking questions.

Frequently asked questions
Can I really post a limo job by pasting a WhatsApp message?
Yes. Choose Paste from WhatsApp on the farm-out form, paste the message and the form fills itself in. You check it, correct anything missing, pay and publish.
What if the paste reads something wrong?
The page lists everything it filled in, so you can see each field. Correct it in the form before you continue to payment; nothing is posted until you do.
Does the passenger's phone number go on the board?
No. The passenger phone goes in its own field and is never shown to the driver. The passenger is texted a private number to reach their chauffeur instead.
Can I still share the job to my WhatsApp groups?
Yes. Once the job is live you can share it to your groups in one tap. The link leads to a prepaid job on the board.
Do I have to fill in waiting time terms?
They are optional, but setting the free waiting included and the extra-hour rate helps drivers accept quickly and avoids questions after the trip.
