Serve Your Limo Clients in Cities Where You Have No Cars

Find out-of-town limo affiliates for clients who travel. Post the trip in the pickup city, pay up front, and a verified local chauffeur runs it in your name.

Your best clients travel. The executive you drive to the airport every Monday lands in London on Monday night. The family you drove to their daughter's wedding is now booking a weekend in Miami. Both of them would rather call you than search for a car service in a city they don't know.

You can't send a car across an ocean. You can still be the company that sorts it out. This post explains how to work with out-of-town limo affiliates so your clients get the same standard wherever they land, and you stay the name they call.

The old way: a contact list and a lot of hope

Most operators who cover other cities do it with a list of names. A number in New York from a trade show. Someone in Dubai a colleague recommended. A WhatsApp group with members on three continents.

It works until it doesn't:

None of that is the client's problem, but all of it can become the client's experience.

Post the trip in the pickup city

On LimoFarmOut you post the job where it happens, not where you are. Enter the pickup address, the drop-off, the vehicle and the flight number if it's an airport run. You enter the pickup time as the passenger sees it on the ground, and it is set in that city's time zone, so nobody turns up an hour early or late.

You then pay up front by card. The job is funded before any local driver sees it, which matters more abroad than at home: a chauffeur in another country who has never heard of your company knows the money is already there. That is why good local drivers are willing to say yes to a stranger.

Jobs can be posted in any city in the world. The global hub shows the countries where members work most and opens the job board for each one.

A verified local chauffeur takes it

Drivers working in that city get an alert on their phones. Before anyone can accept, a person has checked their driver's licence, their chauffeur or limo licence, commercial insurance, vehicle registration and vehicle photos. When a driver accepts, you see their name, vehicle and plate.

The local driver runs the trip under their own local licence and insurance. That is important, because licensing for chauffeured vehicles is set locally. In New York City, for example, the Taxi and Limousine Commission licenses for-hire vehicles and drivers; in London, Transport for London licenses private hire. A local chauffeur already holds what the city requires, which you couldn't arrange for a one-off trip yourself.

If you'd rather choose from several options, post the trip as taking offers. Each offer shows the company and chauffeur, rating, vehicle photos, free waiting time and extra-hour rate side by side. We go deeper on this in choosing verified affiliates you have never met.

Your brand travels with the passenger

Your client should feel they booked with you, because they did. When a driver is assigned, the passenger gets a text in your company's name with the chauffeur's first name, the vehicle, a live tracking link and a private number to reach the chauffeur. On airport pickups, flight tracking lets the driver follow the arrival.

The driver promises, on that job, not to contact your client or passenger directly. Calls and texts run through the private trip line, so neither side sees the other's real number, and contact details typed in the chat are removed. More on this in keeping your client when you farm out a trip.

Getting paid and paying, across borders

Cross-border work used to mean currency headaches. Here, you pay once by card when you post. The driver's payout goes through Stripe to a bank account in the driver's own country and is released within 48 hours of drop-off. You don't send an international transfer, and the affiliate doesn't send you an invoice.

The cost to you is the payout plus the platform fee: 10% of the payout on jobs posted until 31 December 2027 under the launch offer, then the standard 20%. There is no membership fee.

A simple checklist for out-of-town trips

Before you post, have these ready:

Conditions are listed on the job, and the driver confirms they meet every one before accepting. See setting payouts and conditions for how to word them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find limo affiliates in another country?

Post the trip on LimoFarmOut with the pickup city, time and vehicle. Verified drivers and fleets working in that city are alerted and can accept it or send an offer.

Which time zone do I use for the pickup?

Use the time the passenger will see on the ground. The pickup time is set in the pickup city's time zone, so the local driver sees the right time.

How is a driver in another country paid?

The payout goes through Stripe to a bank account in the driver's country, and it is released within 48 hours of drop-off. You only pay once, by card, when you post.

Will the passenger know a local company is driving?

The passenger receives texts in your company's name with the chauffeur's first name, vehicle and live tracking. Every call and text goes through a private trip number.

Is there a membership fee to farm out abroad?

No. Joining is free. You pay a platform fee only when you post a job.

Your clients go everywhere. Now your service can too. Post a trip in any city and a verified local chauffeur will be there when they land.
