Never Turn Down a Limo Booking: Farm Out Your Overflow
Limo company overflow bookings don't have to become lost clients. Farm out the trips you can't cover to verified, prepaid chauffeurs in any city, fast.

Every limo company knows the sound of a booking it can't take. A loyal client calls for Friday at 6 p.m. Every car is already out. You check the board twice, then you say the words nobody in this business likes saying: "I'm sorry, we're fully booked."
That client doesn't stop needing a car. They call someone else. And the next time they need a ride, they may call that someone else first.
Limo company overflow bookings are not a problem to apologise for. They are a sign that demand is there. The question is whether that demand stays with you or walks out the door. This guide shows how to say yes to every booking, even when your own fleet is full, by farming out the overflow to verified chauffeurs on a prepaid network.
Why "no" costs more than one trip
A declined booking looks like one lost fare. It is usually more than that.
- The client learns your limits. Once they hear "we're full", they start keeping a second number in their phone.
- Your competitor gets an introduction. The company that covers the trip now has a chance to win the account.
- Corporate accounts notice. An assistant who books for a whole office wants one supplier who always answers yes.
Saying yes, and then making sure a professional car turns up, protects the account. You keep the relationship and the margin between what the client pays you and what you pay the driver.
What overflow farm-out looks like on LimoFarmOut
LimoFarmOut is a farm-out and affiliate network for limousine companies, chauffeurs and dispatchers. When you can't run a trip yourself, you post it, pay for it up front, and a verified chauffeur or fleet in that city takes it.
The short version:
- You farm out the job with the route, pickup time, vehicle, passenger details and the driver payout.
- You pay by card when you post. The money is held until the trip is done, so the job is fully funded before any driver sees it.
- Drivers in that city get an alert on their phones. You can also share the job to your own WhatsApp groups in one tap.
- A verified chauffeur accepts and promises, on that job, not to contact your client directly.
- You follow the trip live. The passenger gets a tracking link and texts in your company's name.
- After drop-off, the payout is released to the driver automatically.
If you want the step-by-step view from both sides, the how it works page plays it through.

Price it so it fills
Overflow is usually urgent, so the price needs to attract a good driver quickly. When you post, LimoFarmOut shows what similar trips in that city paid, which helps you set a payout that fills fast.
You have three ways to price:
- Fixed price. You set the payout. A driver accepts it or sends a counter-offer.
- Rising price. You set a starting payout and a maximum. The payout rises on its own until someone takes it. Drivers never see your maximum, and anything you didn't need is refunded to your card.
- Offers. Drivers send their price, with vehicle photos, ratings and waiting terms, and you pick one.
For a last-minute Friday booking, rising price is often the most practical: you don't have to sit and watch the board while you handle your own cars. Pickups within two hours, and jobs marked ASAP, go to every driver in the city at once.
Know what it costs you
There is no membership fee. Joining is free for operators, fleets and drivers. You pay a platform fee only when you post a job: 10% of the driver payout during the launch offer, which runs on jobs posted until 31 December 2027 (the standard fee is 20%). The fee is added on top of the payout, so the driver keeps the full amount shown on the job.
That makes the maths simple. If your client pays you a set price, you know exactly what the trip costs you before you post it: the payout plus the fee. Everything left is your margin for taking the call, managing the client and standing behind the service.
Keep the client yours
The fear with any farm-out is that the driver will hand your client a business card. LimoFarmOut is built around stopping that.
- Every driver promises, on every job, not to contact your client or passenger directly, now or later.
- Calls and texts go through a private trip number, so neither side sees the other's real number.
- Contact details typed in the trip chat are removed.
- Breaking the rule can close the driver's account.
Your passenger also sees your name, not ours. When a driver is assigned, the passenger gets a text in your company's name with the chauffeur's first name, the vehicle, a live tracking link and the private number. Verified drivers, not strangers from a group chat
Overflow often goes to whoever answers first in a group. That is fine until the wrong car turns up. On LimoFarmOut, a person checks each driver's licence, chauffeur or limo licence, commercial insurance, vehicle registration and vehicle photos before they can take a job. Ratings after every trip show you who delivers.
LimoFarmOut checks that drivers hold valid commercial insurance; the driver runs the trip under their own local licence and insurance. See how to choose verified affiliates you have never met for what to look at before you accept an offer.
Want to build longer-term partnerships in the cities you farm out to most? The LimousineWorldwide.Directory lists chauffeur and limousine operators worldwide, so you can invite the companies you already trust.
Busy nights and other cities
Overflow is not only a Friday problem. It peaks on prom and wedding weekends, and it shows up when a client books a trip in a city where you have no cars at all. We cover both in handling prom, wedding and concert nights and serving clients in cities where you have no cars.
If your client is flying in for the trip, flight tracking on airport pickups lets the driver follow the arrival. You can also check flight status yourself on FlightAware. Need flights or a hotel for the same client? Search the travel desk:
Need a car for your own client right now?
If you'd rather book a ride directly than post a job, you can do that here too.
Frequently asked questions
What are limo company overflow bookings?
They are reservations you could sell but can't run yourself, usually because every car is already booked. Instead of declining them, you farm them out to another verified operator or chauffeur and keep the client.
How quickly can an overflow job be covered?
The job goes to the board and to drivers' phones in that city as soon as you post and pay. Pickups within two hours and ASAP jobs go to every driver in the city at once.
Does the driver pay a fee on my overflow job?
No. The poster pays the platform fee on top of the payout. The driver keeps the full payout shown on the job.
What if I need to cancel the overflow trip?
You can cancel from the job page, and the exact refund is shown before you confirm. Cancelling less than 24 hours before pickup, after a driver has accepted, pays the driver part of the payout for holding the time.
Will I know which chauffeur is coming?
Yes. When a driver accepts, you see their name, vehicle and plate, and a fleet that takes your job names the chauffeur who will drive.
Stop turning clients away. Farm out your next overflow booking and keep every account you've earned.
