Chauffeur Standards: Punctuality, Dress and a Clean Car
The chauffeur quality standards behind LimoFarmOut jobs: arriving on time, dressing for the job, a clean car, clear updates, and how ratings reflect each one.

Documents get you onto the board. What you do on the day is what keeps operators coming back. A licence and an insurance certificate say you are allowed to do the job; arriving early, in the right clothes, in a spotless car, says you can be trusted with someone else's client.
This post sets out the chauffeur standards that sit behind every LimoFarmOut job, using the rules in the driver agreement and terms, and shows how they turn up in your ratings.
The written rules
The driver agreement lists what every chauffeur does on a trip:
- Arrive on time at the right place, with the vehicle described in the job.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Be polite and professional with passengers and the poster.
- Follow the job details and the poster's reasonable instructions.
- Update the job status in the app as the trip moves forward.
- Mark the trip complete only when it is actually complete.
The terms say the same thing in fewer words: the driver must do the trip as described, on time, with a suitable, clean and legal vehicle. Everything below is about doing those things well.
Punctuality: on time means early
For a chauffeur, "on time" at the kerb means you were there before the passenger looked for you. Plan the route, allow for traffic, and leave a margin for the unexpected.
The app helps you show it. Press En route when you leave, so the poster and passenger start seeing you on the map. Press On location when you arrive. The passenger has a live tracking link, and airport pickups include flight tracking, so you are not guessing at landing times.
If the client is ready early, you can go early. Press each status as you go, and ask the poster to change the pickup time so their records match.
Lateness shows up quickly. "Late" is one of the reasons a poster can tap when rating you, and a no-show can lead to a refund for the poster and a paused account. If you cannot make a job, give it back before pickup so another driver can take it, and remember each give-back counts as a strike; three strikes pause an account.

Dress: dressed for the job
Your professional photo already asks you to be dressed for work, and that is the standard on the day too. Many posters spell out more. When an operator posts a job, they can tick requirements such as:
- Suit and tie.
- Name sign or meet inside.
- Clean car.
- Water bottles.
- Phone chargers.
- Wi-Fi in the vehicle.
- No smoking smell.
- Child seat.
These appear in the job details you agree to when you accept. If a job asks for a suit and tie and a name sign inside arrivals, that is part of the job, not a preference. For a wedding, a corporate roadshow or a VIP airport pickup, the dress code is often what the client remembers first.
A clean car, inside and out
The vehicle photos you uploaded set the bar: daylight, clean, every surface as a passenger will see it. On the day, the car should look like those photos or better.
- Wash the exterior and wipe down glass before every job.
- Vacuum the cabin and clear personal items from seats, door pockets and the trunk.
- Keep the cabin free of smoke and strong smells.
- Bring the vehicle described in the job. "Different vehicle than agreed" is one of the flags a poster can add to a rating, and sending a vehicle that does not match is against the agreement.
At the end of the trip, you must tick that you checked the whole vehicle before you can close it. If a passenger left something, you mark it as found and the private line stays open a day so the item can be returned.
The guide to vehicle registration and photos covers how to present the car in your profile.
Communication and discretion
Good chauffeurs are easy to reach and hard to notice. Keep the poster updated through the trip statuses and the trip chat. Call or text the passenger only through the private trip number. Never hand passengers a business card or your own number, and never contact them outside the job: they are the poster's client, and every driver promises that when accepting.
How ratings reflect your standards
After each job, the poster rates you from one to five stars and can add one-tap reasons. The positive ones are on time, professional, clean vehicle, smooth and safe driving, kept us updated and went the extra mile. The negative ones are late, unprofessional, vehicle not clean, unsafe driving, hard to reach and different vehicle than agreed.
You can see your average, the most-given reasons and recent comments under Earnings, though not who wrote them. Posters may see your rating when choosing a driver. As the help centre says, good ratings and verified documents get you more work. More on this in why operators trust verified limo affiliates.
Industry groups describe similar expectations. The National Limousine Association and LimousineAssociation.International both promote professional standards for chauffeured transport.

Arrive on time at the right place with the vehicle described, keep it clean and presentable, be polite and professional, follow the job details, and update the trip status in the app.
Is there a dress code for LimoFarmOut jobs?
Your professional photo should show you dressed for work, and operators can require suit and tie, a name sign or other extras in the job details you accept.

Be early, dress for the job, bring a clean car that matches the job, keep the poster updated and leave the passenger contact to the private line.
