Chauffeur Ratings After Every Farm-Out Trip
How the chauffeur rating system works on LimoFarmOut: 1 to 5 stars, reasons and a comment after each trip, shown on every offer so good drivers win more work.

In a WhatsApp group, a driver's reputation lives in people's heads. One dispatcher remembers that a chauffeur was late once. Another remembers a great wedding run. None of it is written down, and none of it follows the driver when they work with someone new.
A farm-out network needs something better. When you hand your client to a chauffeur you have never met, you want to know how that chauffeur has done for other operators. And when you drive well, you want that work to count.
That is the job of the chauffeur rating system on LimoFarmOut. This post explains how ratings are given, who sees what, how they are kept fair, and how drivers can use them to win more jobs.
How a rating is given
After each trip, the poster can confirm the job, rate the driver and add a tip. The rating has three parts:
- Stars from 1 to 5.
- Reasons. Quick picks that explain the score, so a rating says more than a number.
- A comment. A few words in the poster's own voice.
It takes less than a minute, and it is done while the trip is fresh. That timing matters. A rating given the same day is more accurate than a memory weeks later.
Who sees what
Ratings are designed to be useful without turning into a blame game.
- Posters see a driver's rating on every offer. When you compare offers, each one shows the company and chauffeur, the rating, paid trips, the vehicle with its approved photos, and the waiting terms.
- Drivers see their own average, the most-given reasons and recent comments under Earnings → My rating.
- Drivers do not see who wrote a comment. They can learn from the feedback without it becoming personal between them and one poster.
That last point encourages honest feedback. A dispatcher can say "arrived on time but the car needed a wash" without worrying about an awkward phone call.

Keeping ratings fair
A rating system only works if people trust it. The Terms of Service set clear rules:
- Ratings must be honest and based on the actual trip.
- Ratings must not be used to threaten, insult or pressure anyone.
- Nobody may offer or ask for anything in return for a rating.
- Colluding to manipulate ratings is prohibited.
- LimoFarmOut may remove ratings or comments that break these rules.
So a driver can't trade a discount for five stars, and a poster can't hold a low rating over a driver to squeeze a price. The stars reflect the ride.
Ratings sit on top of verification
Stars are not the first filter. Before any driver takes a paid job, a person checks their documents: driver's licence, chauffeur or limo licence, commercial insurance, vehicle ownership and vehicle photos. Expiry dates are watched, and an expired required document stops new work until the renewal is approved. Read more in Verified Chauffeurs: Why Licences, Insurance and Photos Build Trust.
Verification tells you a driver is allowed and equipped to do the job. Ratings tell you how they actually do it. Together they answer the question every operator asks before farming out: "Can I trust this person with my client?"
How operators should rate
A good rating helps the whole network. A few habits make yours more useful:
- Rate every trip, not only the bad ones. A record made only of complaints is not fair to a driver who does fifty good jobs and one late one.
- Pick the reasons that fit. A reason about punctuality or the state of the car tells the next poster something specific.
- Write a short, factual comment. Describe what happened, not how you felt about it.
- Separate ratings from disputes. If money is involved, such as a no-show or a missing extra, report it as a problem within the review window rather than only leaving a low score. Our guide on reporting a problem during or after a trip explains how.
- Add a tip if it was earned. Tips from posters go to the driver with the payout.
How drivers can raise their rating
There is no trick to good ratings, but there are habits that show up in the reasons posters pick.
- Arrive early and press En route promptly. The poster and passenger see you on the map from that moment. See Live Tracking Links for Limo Passengers.
- Keep the car spotless. Your approved vehicle photos set an expectation. Match them.
- Use the private line well. A short, polite text before pickup through the trip number reassures the passenger.
- Check the whole vehicle before closing. You can't close a trip without ticking that you did. Finding a lost phone before the client notices earns real goodwill. More in What Happens When an Item Is Left in the Limo.
- Respect the no-poaching rule. It protects the operator and keeps you eligible for their next job.
- Read your comments. They tell you exactly what operators notice.
Why ratings bring more work
Good ratings and verified documents get drivers more work. When a poster compares several offers, a strong average backed by positive reasons can matter more than being the lowest price. Over time, the chauffeurs who deliver become the ones operators look for.
For operators, ratings turn farm-out from a gamble into a choice. You are no longer forwarding a trip to whoever replies first in a group. You are picking a driver whose record you can read. If you are building long-term relationships in other cities, the LimousineWorldwide.Directory and Limousine Association International are good places to meet operators too.

Frequently asked questions
Who rates the chauffeur after a farm-out trip?
The poster who farmed out the job rates the driver after the trip, with 1 to 5 stars, reasons and a comment.
Can drivers see who rated them?
Drivers see their stars, reasons and comments, but not who wrote them.
Where do posters see a driver's rating?
On every offer. Each offer shows the chauffeur and company, the rating, paid trips, the vehicle with its approved photos and the waiting terms.
Can I offer a discount in exchange for a good rating?
No. Offering or asking for anything in return for a rating breaks the terms, and ratings that break the rules may be removed.
Does a low rating affect my payout?
A rating is feedback, not a payment decision. Payment questions are handled through the review window and the dispute process.
